Goat Project Update

More babies have been born creating a lively herd of 24 roaming around the school grounds and creating much havoc!

Two caregivers recently received a mother goat and its kid. The caregivers have secured their goat houses against stock thieves and VMS continues to provide the initial food supply and care training.

VMS will sell many of the remaining goats to recoup expenses but a small herd remains for breeding purposes and for milk.

“Thank you!” to Fernando and everyone who helped to get this important project off the ground. It has certainly proven to be a worthwhile endeavor!

Would anyone like to help us create a Chicken Project?
