Unfortunately, VMS has had security issues in the past. The double gate to the school was very old and had been repaired so many times it was hard to open and close. It had to be widened to accommodate the large trucks bringing sand and cement on property for our ongoing Skills Training Center project.
VMS Friend, Bax, a retired construction foreman, purchased steel and
got a welder to make a beautiful secure sliding gate which moves on steel
runners. HFL is seeking funding to purchase the special paint and labor
costs (R2000 or $130 USD) needed to complete this project.
