Remembering A Friend

This week we join millions of people in saluting, celebrating and mourning the passing of Dr. Maya Angelou.

While we mourn her passing, we, at Hope for Limpopo, celebrate the lessons she brought to us and to the world.

"If you don't like something, change it.  If you can't change it, change your attitude.  Don't complain."

"When you learn, teach. When you get, give."

"We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated."

"Good done anywhere is good done everywhere."

"The need for change bulldozed a road down the center of my mind."

Dr. Angelou lived her life with hope, promise and integrity.  She has  inspired and encouraged all of us to be our best selves and has reminded us that we all have something to offer.  We invite you to follow Maya Angelou's lead by reaching out to one person with a 'like' for HFL as you remember her words:

"I've learned that you shouldn't go thru life w/ a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back."
