Welcome Home, Jo and Ira

HFL Co-Founder, Jo Ann, has returned from South Africa after visiting friends and HFL supported projects in the Limpopo Province. She has so much to share that it is difficult to know where to begin. First order of business was to visit Sue-Anne Cook who runs the Vhutshilo Mountain School as well as Fiona Nicholson, founder and Program Director of the Thohoyandou Victim Empowerment Program. HFL donors generously support both of these programs.

Jo also traveled to the Shayandima location of the Tshilidzini Special School for disabled youngsters in an effort to better understand how HFL can continue to assist them. We will be sharing information in subsequent blogs on new and ongoing projects we will be supporting as well as information about new HFL followers Jo met during her travels.
